Medicare Program; Prospective Payment System & Consolidated Billing For Skilled Nursing Facilities; Updates To The Quality Reporting Program & Value-Based Purchasing Program For Federal Fiscal Year 2024

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued the proposed rule on April 10, 2023. Comments will be accepted through June 5, 2023. The rule affects all skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) reimbursed through the Medicare prospective payment system (PPS).

This proposed rule would update payment rates, including implementing the second phase of the Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) parity adjustment recalibration.
