Dementia, A Public Health Priority

The report was released by the World Health Organization (WHO) with the goal of helping governments, policy-makers, and other stakeholders address the impact of dementia as an increasing threat to global health. WHO encouraged governments and policy-makers to promote dementia as a public health and social care priority worldwide. Between 2010 and 2050, the number of people with dementia is expected to triple.
