Louisiana 2008-2009 Budget (House Bill 1)

March 31, 2008 Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal's proposed budget for the 2008-2009 fiscal year also includes $2.4 million for a mental health advocacy service to provide trained legal representation to every adult and juvenile patient in mental health treatment facilities at all stages of the civil commitment process and $26 million for Assertive Community Teams, Crisis Intervention Teams and Receiving Centers.
