Louisiana Senate Bill 228: Provides for Standards for Crisis Receiving Centers
March 31, 2008 As a part of Louisiana Governor Jindal's promotion of mental health services, Senate Bill 228 was introduced to the Legislature with the goal of creating standards for crisis receiving centers. It requires each authority or region of the Department of Health and Hospitals to develop a plan to operate a twenty-four hour, seven-day-a-week crisis network.
