Homeless Youth Street Outreach Program Data Collection Study, Final Report April 2016

In April 2016, the federal Administration for Children and Families (ACF) released this final report from the Street Outreach Program (SOP). The report was written by Les B. Whitbeck, Ph.D.; Melissa Welch Lazoritz; Devan Crawford; and Dane Hautala, of the University of Nebraska-–Lincoln. The researchers conducted a survey in 2013 of 873 homeless youth between ages 14 to 21 who had received services in 11 cities from one of 11 SOP grantees in 2010.
