Proposed Rule: Medicare Program; Prospective Payment System & Consolidated Billing For Skilled Nursing Facilities; Updates To The Quality Reporting Program & Value-Based Purchasing Program For Federal Fiscal Year 2022

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services released the proposed rule on April 15, 2021.  Comments will be accepted through June 7, 2021. The proposed rule addresses the SNF prospective payment system for federal fiscal year 2022, and proposes updates to the SNF quality reporting program (QRP) and the SNF value-based purchasing (VBP) program.
