Centers For Medicare & Medicaid Services Proposed Rule 1765-P For SNF PPS Payment Updates For Federal Fiscal Year 2023

On April 15, 2022, the Centers For Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) published this proposed rule 1765-P regarding Prospective Payment System (PPS) payment updates in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) for Federal Fiscal Year 2023. This proposed rule would update: payment rates; forecast error adjustment; diagnosis code mappings; the Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) parity adjustment, the SNF Quality Reporting Program (QRP), and the SNF Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) Program.
