On May 5, 2021, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia published this Memorandum Opinion regarding Alabama Association of Realtors v. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, also known as "the national eviction moratorium". In the opinion, the federal judge stayed her previous ruling that would have ended a federal moratorium on evictions amid coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
