New York Claimed Unallowable Room-and-Board Costs Under Its Developmental Disabilities Waiver Program (A-02-12-01031)
In this report released May 7, 2014, the federal Office of the Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of Health and Human Services presented the results of a review to determine whether New York claimed Medicaid reimbursement for unallowable room-and-board costs for residential habiliation services provided at state-operated facilities. The OIG reviewed claims from April 1, 2008 through September 30, 2010.
