Washington State Senate Bill (SB) 5432 of 2019 was passed on May 9, 2019. SB 5432 concerns fully implementing behavioral health integration for January 1, 2020 in the following ways: removing behavioral health organizations from law; clarifying the roles and responsibilities among the Health Care Authority, Department of Social and Health Services, and Department of Health; and reworking the roles and responsibilities of behavioral health administrative services organizations.
