Solicitation for State Proposals to Operate Qualified High Risk Pools

May 10, 2010 The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services developed the solicitation; it was released by the federal Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight. Proposals are due June 1, 2010; awards are expected by July 1, 2010. HHS will contract with the states or with private non-profit entities.
