On May 10, 2024, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released this final rule regarding managed care access, finanace, and quality for the Medicaid and Children't Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The final rule addresses standards for timely access to care and states' monitoring and enforcement efforts.
