Comments In Response To Illinois Health Facilities & Services Review Board 16-002 Staff Report: Transitional Care Of Fox Valley, Aurora

On May 2, 2016, the Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board (HFSRB) received this letter opposing the Certificate of Need (CON) requested by Transitional Care of Fox Valley to open a 68-bed post-acute care facility in Aurora, Illinois. The letter was submitted by a group of existing nursing facilities operating in the same area. The letter claims the HFSRB staff review report included errors, and failed to address basic questions of market demand and staff supply . . .
