On May 31, 2012 the federal Department of Health and Human Services, (HHS) Administration for Community Living (ACL) announced new funding of $25 million that will be awarded as three-year grants with an aggregate value of up to $18.5 million to eight states for projects to strengthen Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) services and expand access to home- and community-based services (HCBS). In addition to accelerating activities in the eight states selected, up to $6.9 million in funding will be provided by ACL to up to 40 states next year to support . . .
