The Case for Inclusion 2012
In a national review of Medicaid-funded community-based programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Arizonas Medicaid program received the highest overall ranking and Mississippi received the lowest ranking. Michigan, California, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Washington, New York, and Pennsylvania were ranked second through tenth respectively. The bottom ten with the worst rankings for their Medicaid community- based programs for people with disabilities were: Tennessee, Iowa, North Carolina, Utah, Indiana, Virginia, Illinois, Arkansas, Texas, and Mississippi.
