The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services released two requests for proposals (RFP) in May 2012 seeking responses from managed care organzations interested in participating in the Medicare-Medicaid Alignment Initiative (MMAI). This RFP is for the Greater Chicago area. Under the MMAI, the state and the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will enter into three-way contracts with the selected health plans.
