New York Medicaid seeks to expand access to supportive housing. The state’s New York Partnership Plan Medicaid Section 1115 Demonstration waiver had requested federal approval to use Medicaid funds to create a Medicaid Supportive Housing Expansion Program. However, in the waiver approval granted April 14, 2014, the federal government rejected the state’s methodology.
