On May 17, 2012, the Arizona Department of Human Services (DHS) signed a final settlement agreement regarding how it will ensure the provision of behavioral health services to people with serious mental illness. The agreement clearly states the services the state has promised to provide for persons with serious mental illnesses. These services range from crisis intervention to helping people stay in their own homes.
