On May 24, 2019, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed House Bill (HB) 280 into action. The bill directs the governor to submit  a waiver amendment to the existing TennCare II waiver to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) in order to provide medical assistance to the TennCare II waiver population.
