State of Colorado House Bill 08-1404

April 25, 2008 This bill of the Colorado House of Representatives concerns Colorado's child welfare system. If passed, the bill would require county departments of human services, upon request, to report information to the state department of human services concerning county employees (i.e., qualifications, duties, evaluations, and training). It would permit the state department to reduce funding to a county department if the county department refuses to share such information. It creates a child welfare action committee cash fund and also requires the state department to make periodic reports of findings and recommendations to the Colorado general assembly . . .
