Nebraska Legislative Bill 603: Adopt the Behavioral Health Workforce Act & Provide Funding

May 22, 2009 The legislation went into effect on July 1, 2009. By January 1, 2010, in addition to launching a 24/7 hotline and navigator services, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services will also provide additional case management services for post-adoption and post-guardianship case management services for adoptive and guardianship families of former state wards.
