House Energy & Commerce Committee Report On CMS Efforts To Clear Inconsistencies In Health Insurance Marketplace Applications

This report released on May 27, 2014, by the House Energy & Commerce Committee highlights federal efforts to verify the eligibility of all individuals who recieved a health insurance premium tax credit to subsidize a health insurance plan purchased through the state or federal marketplaces. The report indicates that about 25% of marketplace applications had inconsistencies or were missing information needed to verify that the individual qualified for the tax credit . . .
