On May 30, 2012, the McHenry County Illinois Mental Health Board met to discuss the service gap that will be created when Family Service and Community Mental Health Center closes. The center is slated to close on June 30, 2012, because its plans to transition contracts to nearby North Central Behavioral Health System (NCBHS) fell through. The Board has met on May 30 to discuss the actions to be taken after the center closes.
