Illinois House Bill 246 Of 2022

On May 31, 2022, the Illinois Legislature published this House Bill (HB) 246 of 2022. Provisions of the legislation focus on long-term care, linking nursing home funding to staffing levels and quality measures. It creates a new pay scale for certified nursing assistants. Additionally, it provides more than $500 million in additional funds for the state’s supportive living model, a Medicaid-funded nursing home alternative.
