June 1, 2011 On June 1st, 2011, the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) released a request for proposals (RFP) seeking qualified entities to meet the State’ requirements for establishing the next phase of an evolving system of care for children, youth, and families involved with DCYF. The lead organization will ensure that children and youth can be maintained safely within their own home, reduce out-of-home placement, increase involvement with extended family and natural supports, and enhance coordination of services.
