mHealth Technologies: Applications to Benefit Older Adults
June 1, 2011 This report by the Center for Technology and Aging (CTA) describes mobile health (mHealth) technologies currently in use and how they are relevant to the health care areas of chronic disease management, medication adherence, safety monitoring, access to health information, and wellness. Benefits from this technology include workforce relief, improved self-management of health conditions, reduced travel, increased speed of communication with care providers.
