Addressing The Specific Needs Of Women With Co-Occurring Disorders In The Criminal Justice System

June 1, 1995 This short report by the GAINS center addresses some of the issues and specific needs of women with co-occurring disorders who are involved with the criminal justice system. The report mentions that women's mental health and substance abuse are often related to past experiences of personal violence and trauma.
