K.W. v. Armstrong, 9th Circuit Court Of Appeals Opinion

On June 5, 2015, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a lower district court ruling in March 2014 that prevented the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW) from reducing individual developmental disability (DD) waiver budgets below the highest amount allocated before June 30, 2011 level. The ruling was the latest in the K.W. v. Armstrong complaint filed in February 2012 by 16 named plaintiffs on behalf of all DD waiver participants.
