Louisiana Federation of Teachers Petition To Block Implementation Of Statewide School Voucher Program Expansion

On June 7, 2012, the Louisiana Federation of Teachers filed a lawsuit to block the expansion of the statewide school voucher program. The lawsuit aimed to challenge the constitutionality of Act 2 of 2012, also known as the voucher law. The Louisiana School Boards Association and 31 local school boards have also filed suit against the challenging the constitutionality of the law.
