California Department Of Health Care Services Notice To CCS-Paneled Providers About The California Children’s Services Program Whole Child Model

The notice was issued on June 15, 2018, by the California Department Of Health Care Services (DHCS). The notice informed clinical professionals and provider organizations participating in the California Children’s Services (CCS) Program that DHCS was launching a CCS program change called the Whole Child Model (WCM). Through the WCM, in 21 counties, the state intends to move many CCS program services for children and youth with special health care needs (CYSHCN) to county Medicaid managed care plans.
