On June 19, 2017, the Ohio Departments of Medicaid and Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) released this report regarding the next steps in the Ohio behavioral health redesign implementation. The report discusses a number of issues and status regarding the redesign, including:
The Ohio Council of Behavioral Health & Family Services Providers requested that JCARR not allow the rules to take effect July 1.
Many providers and stakeholders favored a July 1 implementation date, and have expressed disappointment and negative business impacts from the delay.
