Northern Indiana Team Choices Report

In September 2010, Indiana Department of Children’s Services (DCS) launched a one-year pilot program called “Northern Indiana Team Choices” (NITCH). The pilot took place in four DCS regions spanning 21 counties in Northern Indiana. Through the pilot, Choices Inc., moved about 60% of youth in long-term placements in residential treatment centers (RTCs) in Northern Indiana to a less intensive level of care within six months.
