Arizona’s Maricopa County Awards Behavioral Health and Employee Assistance Services Contract to Magellan Behavioral Health, Inc.

The county released its request for proposals (RFP 11146) on December 22, 2011; proposals were due by February 3, 2012. The county sought an organization to provide administrative services for the countyÂ’s self-insured behavioral health benefits and at-risk EAP services for the countyÂ’s employees, retirees, and former employees covered under COBRA. The contract was awarded to the incumbent, Magellan Health Services.
