On June 23, 2026, the State of Florida Agency For Health Care Administration (AHCA) and Division of Administrative Hearings filed a petition for formal administrative proceedings involving Pediatric Associates and the state of Florida. The lawsuit alleges flawed Medicaid reimbursement rates in that the state's faulty formula for capitation rates resulted in up to a $15 million monthly cut in essential funding, putting access to care for over two million children in jeopardy . . .
