June 25, 2008 This Request For Proposal (RFP) is issued by The Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and seeks proposals, in its effort to successfully implement a person-centered, recovery-oriented, and value-driven system of care, from qualified private non-profit applicants to establish a process to train, certify, and maintain a statewide certification process for Recovery Support Specialists, Peer Delivered Services, in accordance with the standards of the Medicaid Rehabilitation Option concerning Assertive Community Treatment and Community Support Teams.
