Louisiana House Bill 976 Of 2012 To Expand School Voucher Program Statewide

On June 30, 2012, Louisiana House Bill 976 of 2012, or Act 2, was enrolled. This bill will expand the school voucher program statewide. Through Act 2, funding previously reserved for public elementary and secondary schools would be diverted to private and religious schools, charter schools, home schools, and business and industry course providers.
