New Jersey Seeks Psychiatric Involuntary Inpatient Services

On June 30, 2014, the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) released a request for proposals (RFP) seeking one or more contractors to provide at least 44 involuntary inpatient psychiatric beds for the adult population, inclusive of the geriatric population, in Union and Middlesex Counties. A mandatory bidders conference was held July 14, 2014, and final proposals are due by August 8, 2014. Awards announcements are anticipated by September 12, 2014, and the contract is slated to start by January 1, 2015 . . .
