Indianapolis-Marion County City-County Council Re-Entry Policy Study Commission Report

Parole officers affiliated with the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) are partnering with the Indianapolis police department on a new reentry program for high-risk state prison parolees. The program is called INPACT. It connects high-risk parolees with community resources, such as housing, jobs, and transportation. For the program, an on-site IDOC parole officer is stationed at each police district in Indianapolis, to give officers information about where each parolee lives.  This document released in July 2013 is the City's analysis of its options for improving reentry services and public safety . . .
