June 12, 2007 On June 12, 2007, the DoD released a study entitled An Achievable Vision: Report of the Department of Defense Task Force on Mental Health conducted by a DoD-appointed a Mental Health Task Force. The year-long study of the military mental health system provided recommendations to DoD. The Task Forces recommendations included: Building a culture of support for psychological health  Ensuring a full continuum of excellent care for service members and their families  Providing sufficient resources and allocating them according to requirements  Establishing leadership and advocacy for psychological health . . .
