Arizona Department Of Health Services Plan Of Correction For Arizona State Hospital

This document dated July 14, 2015, is a plan of correction submitted by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) to the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to address serious deficiencies in operations of the Arizona State Hospital identified by CMS in a May 2015 complaint verification inspection. CMS approved the plan of correction on July 20, 2015. ADHS  plans to hire more care providers to staff the Arizona State Hospital, and to implement new programs to promote positive interaction between staff and patients.
