Kansas RFI EVT0002523 Seeking Information Regarding The Rainbow Mental Health Facilities Redesign Project

The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (DADS) sought responses regarding the Rainbow Mental Health Facilities Redesign Project. Responses to the RFI were due by August 5, 2013. Most of the Rainbow Mental Health Facility has been closed since November 2011 because a state Fire Marshal's inspection reported a number of citations for building safety. After the facility closed, DADS maintained a small number of beds at the Rainbow facility to handle emergency patient evaluations in the Kansas City area . . .
