Maryville Academy Application For Exemption To Sell Behavioral Health Hospital To US HealthVest

On July 18, 2014, Maryville Academy announced it had signed a letter of intent with 2014 Health LLC to purchase the 125-bed Maryville Behavioral Health Hospital for $23 million. The purchaser 2014 Health, LLC is a new organization formed by US HealthVest, a national for-profit organization that operates psychiatric hospitals. The sale is scheduled to close September 30, 2014.
