Three State Paths To Improve Medicaid Managed Long-Term Care: Florida, New Jersey, And Virginia

On July 22, 2013, the Center for Health Care Strategies, Inc. (CHCS) published a Policy Brief on paths pursued by Florida, New Jersey, and Virginia in implementing managed long-term services and supports (MLTSS) approaches to keep individuals in their communities. The brief also includes information on how states’ MLTSS program efforts establish a platform for future coordination of Medicare and Medicaid benefits.
