July 23, 2009 The report by the Center for Health Care Strategies presents eight themes that should be assessed in order for child health measures to be of the highest quality. The report identifies the states' readiness, experiences, and needs that play a crucial role in the development of quality measures for child health. Furthermore, the current measures in place are only a start to address priority areas for new measures and priority populations of those new measures.
