H.R. 6042 Of 2018 To Delay Financial Penalties To States For Failure To Implement Electronic Visit Verification

The bill was signed on July 30, 2018. It sets a one-year delay on federal Medicaid penalties for states that fail to require an electronic visit verification (EVV) system for personal care services (PCS). The penalty, a lower Medicaid federal matching rate, had been scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 2019.
