CMS Approval Letter For The California Global Payment Program & Program Of All Inclusive Care For The Elderly Expansion
On August 3, 2020, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved a request from the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to amend its Medicaid 1115 waiver and extend its Global Payment Program (GPP). The changes went into effect the same day and will stay in effect through December 31, 2020, unless extended or otherwise amended. The extension will extend the waiver and expenditure authority so that DHCS can continue to support the 12 participating public health care systems . . .
