July 2008 This document describes the Intel Health Guide PHS6000 device approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on July 10, 2008. The device allows health care professionals to schedule telehealth sessions with individuals at remote sites, including their homes. During the sessions, the individual can measure their vital signs, respond to health assessment questions, receive educational information, and complete surveys. After the session is complete, the results are made available to authorized health care professionals.
