On August 5, 2019, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida released this order certifying a class, approving a settlement, and directing the judgement in H.G. et. al., v. The Florida Department of Children Families. The class consists of all present and future children whose cases originate in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties who are in foster care placements.
