United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia, et al., v. Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, et al.

August 8, 2013
Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court received a complaint from United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia, Inc., et al., v. the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, et al. seeking monetary damages, restitution, and declaratory relief. It was filed as class action No. 2013-CV-234856. These complaints arise from breaches of contract and violations of state and federal statutes and constitutions as a result of insufficient disclosures, violations of due process rights, and improper calculations and underpayments of Medicaid reimbursements for care to some of Georgia’s neediest citizens and their health care providers.
