Texas Legislators’ Letter To The Governor Regarding HHSC Reductions To Rates For Medicaid Outpatient Therapy

In this letter dated August 14, 2015, Texas legislators asked the Governor's office to lessen the impact of a pending reduction to Medicaid rates for outpatient therapy. The most recent appropriations bill included a rider requiring the state Medicaid program to cut state general fund spending on outpatient therapy by $50 million.
